AutoSend for Sheets - Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AutoSend for Sheets ("we", "us", "our") handles data when you use the add-on. AutoSend for Sheets is a Google Workspace™ add-on that sends scheduled CSV snapshots of a Google Sheets™ tab by email.

What we access

  • Sheet tab names and cell values - We read the selected tab from your active spreadsheet at scheduled send time in order to generate the CSV snapshot.
  • Your Google account email address - Used to identify your session, associate your schedule configuration with your account, and manage your usage quota.

What we store

  • Schedule configuration (sheet tab name, recipient email addresses, send frequency) is stored in Google UserProperties - on Google's servers, not ours. This data is accessible only within your Google account and is never transmitted to our servers.
  • License key string - If you use a paid license, the key is stored in Google UserProperties alongside your schedule configuration. It is not stored on our servers.

Spreadsheet cell contents are never stored - not on our servers, not in logs, and not in any database we control.

What we transmit

  • CSV email attachment - At each scheduled send, cell data from the selected tab is read, converted to CSV, and sent as an email attachment via Gmail™ to the recipient addresses you configured. No copy of this data is retained after transmission.
  • License key to Gumroad - When you activate a paid license, the key is sent to Gumroad's API for verification only. No other data is transmitted to Gumroad.

What we never do

  • We do not store spreadsheet cell contents on our servers.
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except as described in the "Third parties" section below.
  • We do not use your data for advertising or to train AI models.
  • We do not access any spreadsheets other than the one open in the active session.

Third parties

  • Google - Gmail™ is used to send scheduled emails. Google UserProperties is used to store your schedule configuration. Your use of these services is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Gumroad - License key verification is handled by Gumroad's API. See Gumroad's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data.

Data retention

Schedule configuration persists in Google UserProperties until you delete it from within the add-on or uninstall the add-on from your Google account. Upon uninstall, Google automatically deletes all UserProperties data associated with the add-on.

We do not retain any data independently of Google UserProperties. There is nothing to delete on our end.

Children's privacy

AutoSend for Sheets is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the add-on after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
